My very last Imagination Session of the year was this EPIC Harry Potter themed shoot for a 12 year old and her sisters. Last year we had a pillow fight that looked like chickens welt bald in a field so this year we had to step it up !!! Imagination Sessions ….. some times people get overwhelmed with the options. There’s “MINIS” which you see posted everywhere …. but when it comes to a individualized Session ALL ABOUT YOUR kid its hard to picture what my creative brain has in store for your kiddo. There’s no samples or a portfolio to show on what your session is going to be like … AN there shouldnt BE !!! This is your child !!! No child is alike !!! So when I say we can do ANY theme !!!! I really MEAN IT !!!
So here comes Harry Potter …. this was the first session I was kinda nervous about. Our family is not super huge into Harry Potter (I have a star wars obsessed son) … so my first thought was OMGosh I dont have these props. But like all Imagination Sessions, if your child is into something they are going to have a whole lotta stuff. Which I was right, not only did they have some fun things they had EXACT replicas of so many details of this amazing movie.
This shoot was big. The first time I’ve teamed up with so many prop places to rent furniture and extras. Plus the supermarket trips and cake from a baker. Not to mention TWO TRIPS to get dry ice (Which almost super glued the pot to the table since it was sooooo cold). AHHH !! So where did I get everything !!! All the authentic props mom supplied and most where from the Harry Potter Shop and from the Harry Potter Land at Universal Studios FL. The amazing plants were from ETSY. The Furniture and some serve-ware was from The Prettiest Pieces. Trunks and candles were from High Cotton Acres here in Burlington NC.
Here’s a quick peek at all the details as I finish this gallery up for my client !!!
